Rainbow Wants More Colors
With the expansion of human rights beyond Sexual minority hatred
by Youth Reporter Seo-Jin Lee

Do you know The Rainbow Flag? The Rainbow Flag which symbolizes sexual minority was designed by artist Gilbert Baker of San Francisco, USA in 1978. When the first time The Rainbow Flag was made, it included eight colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, deep blue, purple and pink. But Pink, which was hard to mass-produce among the 8 colors was excluded, and navy was also excluded, making it the current six-color flag in order to divide it into two three-color flags in the parade.
Recently, <Rainbow wants more colors>, a book that collects essential knowledge necessary to correct misunderstandings about Sexual minority people and dispel discrimination and hatred, has been published.
It clearly depicts the life of Sexual minorities living in a hateful world. Using vivid interview data and abundant statistics, it discusses various issues such as Sexual minority family composition, reproduction, and transgender gender correction, and contains suggestions for a future where Sexual minority rights are respected. Sexual minorities have been suffering from severe discrimination and insults "because they are different from others." Humans have long pursued 'freedom', 'rights', and 'equality'. Sexual minorities wish to live an equally comfortable life so that they could be treated as normal as others. The reason why we wandered in search of freedom for so long is because we accepted "different" as "wrong."
They're the same people. Everyone must recognize and respect their freedom and rights.
Homosexuals are different from heterosexuals. But it's not wrong. Please acknowledge their own freedom.Transgender is different from women and men. But it's not wrong. Please recognize their own rights.
Just like chocolate over candy or candy over chocolate, they have different preferences. Not by the name of Sexual minority, but until the day you can call it as a friend or family.
